RCCB & RCBO Earth Leakage Protection

An RCCB (earth leakage breaker) disconnects the circuit when it detects leakage current to earth, giving additional protection against electric shock and reducing the fire risk from earth-leakage faults; an RCBO adds overload and short-circuit protection in the same device. It complements, but does not replace, correct earthing and circuit protection.
